Chinese orbital equipment enters the United States for the first time
The deal for China's first export of subway vehicles to the United States was finally finalized yesterday.According to foreign media reports,on the afternoon of the 22nd local time,the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the United States approved the purchase of 284 subway vehicles worth$567 million from China CNR to equip the Boston Metro.
As a symbolic city of American spirit,Boston opened the first subway line in the United States as early as the Qing Dynasty in China(1897),seven years earlier than New York.Until today,the outdated facilities of the Boston subway are clearly unable to withstand the weight of history.The emerging"Made in China"will replace old trains that have been in operation for three or four decades,as if seeing the end of an era.

This Chinese state-owned enterprise is China CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles Co.,Ltd.According to reports,CNR has won a purchase contract for 284 subway vehicles from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation,which will be equipped with the Boston Red Line and Orange Line subways.This is the first time that a Chinese rail transit equipment enterprise has won a global bidding in the United States,and China CNR has become the only rail equipment manufacturing enterprise from China to land in the United States.
